Children’s Cancer Center Visit With Miss Tampa

It was an afternoon filled with smiles as Ashley Ramsey, Miss Tampa 2013, joined Levy Recognition's, Vanessa Leon and Anthony Conard at the Children’s Cancer Center of Tampa. Walking through the door of the Children’s Cancer Center, Miss Tampa captured every eye in the room. Children and staff were all shining with happiness, ready to greet their guests. During her visit, Ramsey shared stories, played games, and everyone had the chance to be creative with arts and crafts.

Ashley Ramsey, Miss Tampa 2013, is a devoted supporter of Anti-Bullying and shares her story with many people. Ramsey, in an interview back in March of 2013 stated, “as someone who was bullied as a young child, my number 1 focus is to teach parents and teachers the signs of bullying and provide seminars to students and others interested in being informed about bullying."

The Children’s Cancer Center is a local non-profit organization dedicated to serving Tampa Bay families of children with cancer or chronic blood disorders such as Sickle Cell Anemia. Their mission is helping children and families cope. With sponsors such as Levy Recognition and Panera Bread, the organization is able to offer scholarships for further education to young adults who have been diagnosed with cancer or a chronic blood disorder.

Thank you to the Children’s Cancer for allowing Levy to be part of such a wonderful organization and Ashley Ramsey, Miss Tampa 2013, for joining Levy for this wonderful afternoon.
