Levy Recognition would like to congratulate Sam Houston State University's Shelby Hardy for being awarded Individual Medalist at the 2013 Southland Women’s Golf Championship.
Sam Houston State was led by two-time, first-team, all-conference member Shelby Hardy, who was the only golfer to finish in red figures after setting a 54-hole tournament record with a 212 (68-71-73). Hardy finished 4-under par for the championship to claim medalist honors, becoming the third Bearkat golfer to do so and the first since Stephanie Page won in a sudden-death playoff in 2007.
