Levy Recogntion is proud to support the University of South Florida’s Office of Supplier Diversity. Last week, USFOSD hosted a Supplier Diversity day at the main campus Marshall Center. The day recognized USF’s commitment to utilizing small-, minority-, service disabled veteran- and women-owned businesses in the procurement of goods, services, supplies and construction service contracts.
Customer Service Representative, Cindy Amato, showcased Levy’s capabilities during the vendor exhibit and attended information sessions throughout the day. Cindy was able to network and build connections with other diverse suppliers in the Tampa Bay Area. It was an opportunity to strengthen Levy’s relationship with businesses who support supplier diversity initiatives while also increasing our brand presence within the USF community.
USF’s newest team member and Assistant Vice President of Supplier Diversity, Terrie Daniel, spearheaded the event. Her goals for USFOSD are to, “…foster an ongoing environment across USF to connect business owners to contracting opportunities and provide educational tools and resources to assist businesses with strategies to develop growth.”
Levy Recognition currently works with several departments within the USF System. We are proud to be recognized as a diverse supplier and are excited to promote supplier diversity initiatives to other departments within the University. Further, we are delighted at the opportunity to share our capabilities with supporting businesses in the Tampa Bay Area.
