What Happens in Vegas...

Creates Business Partnerships

Last week, Levy Recognition traveled to Las Vegas for the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council’s (WBENC) National Conference and Business Fair. It was a busy week for our team as Levy was both an exhibitor at the Fair and a sponsor of the Silent Auction event.

This year’s event theme celebrated the 20th anniversary of WBENC. The slogan, “Looking back. To the Future” served as a catalyst for all of the speaking engagements and presentations during the conference. Hundreds of successful businesswomen (and male supporters) gathered to discuss past successes and plan for even more in the future. Our team had several opportunities to meet and network with like-minded business people. Exchanging ideas and creating business relationships was one of the primary goals of attending the event.

However, the event was not all business. It was in Las Vegas, after all. Conference attendees were invited to try their luck at the Silent Auction. The Silent Auction was showcased during the Welcome Reception of the Conference. Levy Recognition was proud to be a sponsor of the auction. Our sponsorship made it possible for the WBENC to create numerous prize packages for hopeful bidders.  Attendees placed bids on a variety of items including jewelry, sports tickets, and vacation packages.

Being a sponsor at the National Conference gave our team the opportunity to market the Levy brand in front of thousands of event attendees. Braving the desert heat, the team attended the Silent Auction where we spent time networking and speaking to business owners who could benefit from our services and products.

The Business Fair is the largest of its kind for women business owners. Being an exhibitor at this event gave us the opportunity to showcase the Levy brand, identify potential suppliers and new purchasers, and expand our network. It was a busy day for our Levy team. Our booth display featured a few examples of the awards we have designed and manufactured. We met so many smiling faces and were able to share business contact information with professionals interested in employee recognition. Team members were also able to meet and network with employees from Google, Facebook, Coca-Cola, Toyota, and several other supporters of women in business. We made business connections that are sure to turn into profitable partnerships.

Getting a few minutes to step away from the booth, a few of our team members were able to meet some of Vegas’s top talent. Team members danced with Michael Jackson and shook hands with The King, Elvis. Having a little fun and working hard made our trip the WBENC National Conference and Business Fair a booming success. We cannot wait for next year’s event in Detroit, Michigan!
